Self-contained short notes on emcee, a commonly used MCMC sampler in astrophysics.

We use spatially resolved spectroscopy to study extraplanar diffuse ionized gas in NGC 3511 and NGC 3513, showing how turbulence, ionization structure, and local outflows shape the disk–halo interface.
